Step by Step:

1 Preheat oven to 245°F / 118°C.
2 Break up 2.5g cannabis flower into small pieces. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3 Place in oven and bake for 35 minutes. Flower should be lightly golden and dry to the touch.
4 Remove from oven and let cool completely. Decarbed flower is now ready for infusion.

Step by Step:

1 Decarb cannabis (see steps above). Warm coconut oil with decarbed flower. Simmer low 45 minutes. Strain.
2 Place 2 tbsp coconut oil in a small heatproof bowl. Add the decarbed cannabis flower.
3 Warm over low heat using a double boiler until mixture reaches 160F. Maintain temperature, do not exceed 160F.
4 Simmer gently at 160F for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5 Remove from heat. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container.
6 While still warm, blend the infused coconut oil into softened unsalted butter until fully incorporated. Use this infused butter in the biscotti dough.

4 Fold in 1 cup all-purpose flour and ½ cup sliced almonds until a cohesive dough forms.
5 Divide dough in half. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, shape each half into a log about 3 inches wide and ¾ inch thick. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until lightly golden.
6 Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Using a serrated knife, slice each log diagonally into ½-inch thick slices. Place slices cut-side down back on the baking sheet.
7 Bake the slices for 8-10 minutes per side at 325°F until crisp and golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes 12 biscotti.
