Step by Step:
1 Decarb cannabis (see Decarboxylation steps above).
2 Place 2 tbsp coconut oil in a small saucepan.
3 Add the decarbed cannabis flower to the oil. Stir gently to combine.
4 Warm over low heat until mixture reaches 160F. Maintain temperature, do not exceed 160F.
5 Simmer gently at 160F for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6 Remove from heat. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container.
7 Discard plant material. Blend infused oil into coffee as directed.

1 Brew strong coffee and let it cool completely to room temperature. This prevents the milk from curdling and keeps the drink refreshing. Chill the coffee in the fridge if needed.
2 Decarb the cannabis at 245°F for 35 minutes on a baking sheet. This activates the THC. Work in a well-ventilated area and use oven mitts.
3 Infuse the decarbed cannabis into the coconut oil at 160°F for 45 minutes, then strain. Stir the infused oil and chocolate syrup into the cooled coffee until fully blended.
4 Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the mocha mixture over the ice until the glass is about two-thirds full. This allows room for the milk to create beautiful layers.
5 Froth or shake the milk until foamy. A handheld frother or jar with a tight lid works well for beginners. The foam adds creaminess and visual appeal.
6 Slowly pour the frothed milk over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect. The milk should sit on top of the mocha.
7 Drizzle chocolate syrup on top if desired. Stir gently before drinking to combine. The latte should be cool, creamy, and perfectly balanced with rich coffee and chocolate flavors. Makes 1 serving.
