Ingredients (2 sandwiches)
Chicken
- 2 boneless chicken thighs
- Salt + cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Dredge
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- Oil for frying
Infused Oil (for glaze)
- 0.4 g Pineapple Express flower (decarbed)
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
Hot Honey Glaze
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp hot sauce

Build
- 2 brioche buns, toasted
- Butter for buns
- Pickles (optional but encouraged)
Decarboxylation Instructions
- Preheat oven to 240°F (115°C).
- Lightly grind 0.4 g Pineapple Express.
- Spread on parchment.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, stirring once.
- Cool completely.
Infusion Instructions
- Warm 1 tbsp neutral oil over very low heat.
- Add decarbed cannabis.
- Hold gently for 2 hours, no bubbling.
- Strain and reserve.
Full Recipe Steps
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Soak in buttermilk 30 minutes (or longer).
- Heat frying oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, cornstarch, cayenne. Dredge chicken thoroughly.
- Fry chicken 5–6 minutes until deeply golden and cooked through. Drain.
- Simmer all hot honey glaze ingredients for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in infused oil off heat.
- Toss fried chicken in glaze until lacquered.
- Toss slaw ingredients lightly.
- Build sandwich: bun → chicken → slaw → pickles → bun.
- Press slightly. Accept no substitutions.
