THC-Infused Italian Seasoning

Ingredients (makes about 1 cup)

  • 2 tablespoons cannabis flower (decarbed and finely ground)
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons dried basil
  • 3 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Decarboxylation

  1. Preheat oven to 240°F (115°C).
  2. Coarsely grind 2 tablespoons raw cannabis flower.
  3. Spread evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 40 minutes, stirring halfway.
  5. Cool completely (20-30 minutes).

2. Mixing

  1. Grind cooled decarbed cannabis to fine powder.
  2. Combine cannabis powder with all dry ingredients in bowl.
  3. Mix thoroughly 2-3 minutes.
  4. Store in airtight jar in cool, dark place.

Dosage & Serving Information

⚠️ Dosage varies by cannabis potency. Start low and go slow.

Serving Size: ½–1 teaspoon per person on food.

THC Calculation

  • 2 tbsp cannabis ≈ 8–12 grams (weigh for accuracy).
  • Total THC (mg) ≈ grams × (THC% / 100) × 1000 × 0.85.
  • Batch yields ≈ 48 teaspoons.
  • THC per teaspoon ≈ total THC ÷ 48.

Examples (10g cannabis): 15% THC → \~13 mg/tsp; 20% THC → \~17 mg/tsp; 25% THC → \~21 mg/tsp.

Recommended Doses:

  • Beginner: ¼–½ tsp (5–10 mg THC)
  • Intermediate: ½–1 tsp (10–20 mg THC)
  • Experienced: 1–2 tsp (20–40+ mg THC)

Shake before use. Effects: 30–120 min onset, last 4–8 hrs.
