Classic whiskey sour gains smooth sophistication from cannabis-infused bourbon and silky egg white foam.

Ingredients

2 oz cannabis-infused bourbon

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup

1 egg white

Orange slice and cherry for garnish

Instructions

Prepare infusion (see below).

Add infused bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white to shaker without ice.

Dry shake 15 seconds vigorously.

Add ice and shake 15 more seconds until chilled.

Double strain into rocks glass over ice and garnish with orange slice and cherry.

Decarboxylation

Temperature 240°F / 115°C. Time 30 minutes. Cannabis 3g. Standard decarb in oven. Flower will be used to infuse the bourbon.

Infusion

Method Infused Bourbon. Base bourbon total 1 cup. Temperature 160°F. Time 25 minutes. Yield 1 cup. Storage refrigerate up to 1 week.

Warm bourbon to 160°F in double boiler.

Add decarbed cannabis, stir 25 minutes; strain before using.
